Facebook / Meta login
Store owners sign in with Facebook only to connect their own WhatsApp Business account to Trisend. We do not store your Facebook profile, friends, posts or any other personal Facebook data. We store, encrypted, the access token Meta issues for the connected WhatsApp Business account, plus that account's IDs, phone number and display name.
- Disconnect WhatsApp (Trisend → Integrations → WhatsApp → Disconnect): the access token and account details are deleted immediately.
- Uninstall Trisend from your Shopify admin: all of your store's data, including WhatsApp data, is deleted (Shopify shop/redact).
- Remove Trisend in Facebook (Settings → Business integrations → Remove): Meta notifies us and we confirm with a code on this page.
Shoppers (people who receive messages)
If you received email, SMS or WhatsApp messages from a store that uses Trisend, ask that store to delete your data — they control it, and Trisend erases it when they do (Shopify customers/redact). You can also email us and we will forward your request to the store.
